I revel in it. Of course, I'm <i>old</i> already. New Year's Eve does nothing for me, and I don't do resolutions, but when my birthday comes, that's my own personal new year, and I look over the past year and think about my hopes for the new year. It sounds like you're doing a bit of your own year-in-review, so Happy New Year to you! And many more. My birthday does a lot of that stuff to me, too. I revel in it. Of course, I’m old already.
